Our products.

Eight products from the mill, from crude palm oil and palm kernel to sustainable biomass by-products.

From crude palm oil to the shells, ash and fibre left behind — every part of the fresh fruit bunch finds a purpose.

  1. Crude Palm Oil

    Crude Palm Oil (CPO)

Crude Palm Oil (CPO) is an edible oil extracted from Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB). The ripe FFB's colour is red because it contains high amounts of beta-carotene, well known as vitamin A. Palm oil can be processed and manufactured into pre-packaged food, cosmetics, cleaning products, hair care, soaps and more.

  2. Palm Kernel

    Palm Kernel (PK)

Palm Kernel (PK) is the edible seed of the Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB). Palm Kernel can be formed into Palm Kernel Cake (PKC) produced by mechanical screw press, and can also be processed into Crude Palm Kernel Oil (CPKO).

  3. Crude Palm Kernel Oil

    Crude Palm Kernel Oil (CPKO)

Crude Palm Kernel Oil (CPKO) is a light yellow crude oil extracted from Palm Kernel (PK). CPKO is used for ice cream, margarine, chocolate and confectionery products, soap and detergent.

  4. Palm Kernel Cake

    Palm Kernel Cake (PKC)

Palm Kernel Cake (PKC) is generated after the extraction of Crude Palm Kernel Oil (CPKO) using a mechanical screw press. PKC is mainly used for animal feed because it is a nutritious by-product containing crude protein, oil and minerals like calcium, zinc and copper.

  5. Palm Kernel Shell

    Palm Kernel Shell (PKS)

Palm Kernel Shell (PKS) is the shell fraction left after the nut is extracted in the crushing operation of the palm oil mill. It can be used in industrial boilers, furnaces and foundries, brick kilns, residential and commercial heating, and as light-weight aggregate for concrete — an alternative biomass fuel for combined heat and power plants.

  6. Boiler Ash

    Boiler Ash

Boiler Ash is a by-product from the palm oil mill boiler which contains potassium. It can be mixed with soil to become fertilizer.

  7. Black Soil

    Black Soil

Black Soil contains soil, boiler ash and decanter cake from the palm oil mill process, making a fertilizer for planting.

  8. Empty Fruit Bunch

    Empty Fruit Bunch (EFB)

Empty Fruit Bunches (EFB) are a biomass by-product separated from the Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) after mill processing. EFB can be used as a bioenergy fuel for boilers, and is also a natural fiber — coarse, thick, clean and biodegradable — used for woven products and planting.
